Professional Experience
To say that exercise is a passion of mine would be an understatement. I have been
teaching exercise classes and personal training classes for 20 plus years. I attended
Illinois Benedictine College where I received my M.S. Exercise Physiology degree.
During the past 7 years I have been teaching yoga and am now focusing on the mind-
body exercise as a holistic health discipline. I truly enjoy what I do and I am dedicated
to your mental and physical well being. Every year, I attend yoga and general exercise
conferences to learn, grow , and pass on the latest knowledge to my students. Along
with owning a business, I also currently teach at the Oswego Park District and the
Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department. I have also recently taught at the Rush
Copley HealthPlex in Aurora, IL.

My View on Hatha Yoga
When I teach Hatha based yoga, I focus on the mind-body connection of the
practice. Proper alignment of the body and various breathing techniques are the
cornerstones of my classes. Hatha yoga is not just a physical exercise, it is also
a holistic practice.
